A space to be truly seen and heard

Person-centred therapy in Clapham, Richmond & Online

Here for you

Many of the ways we cope, even the ones that feel destructive or confusing, began as attempts to manage or numb di#cult feelings. They are not weaknesses. They are responses to experiences that, at some point, felt overwhelming or too much to hold alone.

In our work together, rather than focusing on labels, diagnoses or symptoms, we create space to explore what's going on for you at the root. My aim is not to “fix" you, but to understand you and your experience from the inside, and to meet all of it with acceptance and care.

If we tend to the wound and the unmet need, creating space for healing, the coping strategies that once felt necessary can start to loosen naturally.

You don't need a label, or be in crisis to reach out (but its okay if either of these feel true), therapy is a space to pause, reflect, and gently get to know yourself more deeply.

You might be:

Feeling anxious or on edge

  • Feeling disconnected, flat, or lacking motivation

  • Doubting yourself, or comparing yourself to others

  • Feeling "not enough"

  • Carrying something painful from the past

  • Struggling with work or relationships

  • Coping with change, maybe a breakup, a move, a loss, a life transition

  • Feeling uncomfortable in your body or sense of self

  • Wanting to understand yourself better

How I Work

I practise person-centred therapy, which means I won't be directing you, analysing you, or handing out advice. I bring warmth, honesty and my full attention, trusting that, given the right conditions, you already hold what you need.

About Me

Sophie Redgrave. A woman with long brown hair and sunglasses resting on her head, smiling while sitting among rows of blooming lavender flowers outdoors on a partly cloudy day.

I’m a trainee psychotherapist completing my MSc in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy. I'm a trainee member of UKCP and BACP and work within their ethical frameworks.

Before training as a psychotherapist, I worked in event management. On the outside I was capable and organised; inside, I was running on anxiety and never felt enough. My own therapy changed that, and it's the reason I chose to train and now work with others on there journey.
